Toilet Attendant (boys’ toilet) & Premises Officer
The role and responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and supervising students’ behaviour in the boys’ toilet area ensuring the safety, security and well-being of students and the maintenance of good order and discipline
- The maintenance and cleaning of the boys’ toilets to the standards set by the Site Operations Manager.
- The replenishment of hygiene resources in the toilet area.
- To assist in the maintenance of buildings, fixtures and fittings, including basic repairs and decorating.
- Porterage and any other appropriate tasks, including removals, general cleaning, litter-picking and pro-active repairs.
- Being a positive role model in terms of social skills and respect for others.
- Undertake the safe transportation of passengers and/or equipment to various locations in the school Minibus(es)/van.
- To undergo First Aid at Work training and provide First Aid support if required and in line with the school requirements
- To contribute to the efficient running of the school by contributing to the development of systems to meet changing needs and to improve the services provided.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- The ability to carry out cleaning tasks and use of relevant equipment and resources
- Previous experience of working as part of a team
- Good communication and inter-personal skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- A good level of spoken and written English
- A basic level of computer skills - for emails etc.
- An approachable and friendly manner with the ability to quickly establish and maintain positive relationships with our students
- The physical ability to carry out all duties required in the role with reasonable adjustments, where appropriate in accordance with the Equality Act
- The ability to work without supervision
- Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
- The ability to project a positive and professional image of the school
Salary & Benefits
Salary £22564 per year
