YEAR 12 LEEDS UNIVERSITY TASTER DAY - WEDNESDAY 1ST MAY

Year 12 students visited Leeds University yesterday to experience and get a feel for what courses that involve Mathematics at university and what life is like beyond A Levels.
Below is what some of the students said:
  • Loved the challenging questions to help us get an understanding of work at university.
  • Student ambassadors were so useful throughout the whole day - helping with Maths questions and answering any uncertainties/misunderstanding we had of life at Uni.
  • The overall experience was very useful and reassuring when understanding all aspects of a potential student life at Leeds university. Students answered questions about their decisions for their course and university choices. Lecturers simplified an in-depth topic to understand the type of work we would receive in university. The process of applying to any university for the study of Maths was explained along with all the different aspects of Maths that are on offer across the country.
  • It was really inspirational and motivating, and got me really excited to go to university!
