Bingley Grammar School

The Student Variety

When they were in Year 11, students Poppy Eaglesham and Finn Risdon (now in Year 13) decided to set up their own newspaper and worked really hard getting their idea off the ground. They invited other students to join them in contributing to the paper, whilst also writing articles themselves, editing and producing the paper.

Passing on the baton to editors Lana Toehill (Year 12) and Isla Baranowski (Year 11), the newspaper continues to report on issues that interest our students and is open to all years to contribute and have their say on anything from Politics to the latest film releases. Meetings are held twice a half term to produce a half termly issue. If students wish to submit any opinion articles, artwork or reviews for the latest edition, or want to get involved in meetings, please email school.newspaper@bingleygrammar.org.

We hope you enjoy reading 'the Student Variety' and we look forward to future editions! The paper gives our student body a voice and we've been inspired by hearing their views.
