Cyber Explorers

We were very fortunate to have a special guest in for our designated KS3 pupils on the 27th March. Baasit Siddiqui from Gogglebox came to deliver sessions on Cyber Security. Pupils were able to get hands-on experience into the essential role digital plays in all our lives, using the Cyber Explorers interactive platform. Through a mix of engaging activities from videos, puzzles, and challenges, the pupils learnt how to broaden their thinking, make smarter choices and develop essential cyber security skills.

Bassit guided the pupils through the lesson and kept the pupils engaged through his humour. Pupils responded in a positive manner and explained how they felt this topic can be quite dull, but were able to grasp the content in a fun and enjoyable way.

Students will be able to use the knowledge and skills they have gained to stop a cyber-attack, demonstrating how they could contribute to keeping our world a safer place to live in. These real-world skills will be invaluable to them in their lives and future careers.
