Bingley Grammar School

Our Sixth Form Team comprises of four main invaluable staff members:

They are:

Mr Moore (AHT, Head of Sixth Form): Mr Moore is a teacher of English Language and Literature, but he also presides over Year 12 and Year 13 and is there to answer any questions you might have about Sixth Form.

Mrs Booth, Sixth Form Coordinator: Mrs Booth oversees all things UCAS – if you have a problem or query to do with higher education, she will probably have the answer! Mrs Booth has a lot to do with Year 13 in the university application process, but she also deals with the Sixth Form application process, so she is the person to see if you’re a Year 11 student hoping to join the Sixth Form.

Mrs Bradley, Student Support Officer: Mrs Bradley is here for any problems you’re having to do with Sixth Form life, as well as any personal concerns. She also makes sure that we are making the most of the study and lesson time we have at school.

Mrs Durrans, Careers and Sixth Form Attendance Officer: Mrs Durrans provides careers advice and is the person to see about work experience.  Mrs Durrans also looks after Sixth Form attendance.

Tutors

We have a dedicated team of Sixth Form Tutors who will provide another dimension of general support as well as assisting you through the most important processes of your time with us:

Tutors will be able to assist you in your plans for the future, whether that is applying to university and the UCAS process, or finding information about various vocational pathways you may take.

They will take time to mentor you through the rigours of your studies and support you throughout your time with us in Sixth Form.
