Sixth Form Law Courts Visit
On Thursday 4th April our Year 12 and 13 Law and Criminology students' were given the opportunity to attend a tour of the Combined Courts in Leeds.
They were shown around the courts and discovered the structure and nature of the CJS system. The latter part of the day provided the students with a unique opportunity to observe live cases.
Yr 12 student Alex said:
I really enjoyed the trip, it has given me a great insight into how the justice system works and has made me think deeper about what I want to study at university. It's made me more interested in Law and the Criminal Justice System and motivated me to pursue a career in this area. I would definitely go again as I think the trip benefited me in terms of enabling me to have insight into the type of career I want to do and to help me complete my current studies.
Miss Seeley and Miss Shaw commented that all the students were exemplary, a real credit to the school.< Back to all news stories
