A group of 12 very talented year 10 students (who auditioned back in September) and directed by year 13 student Jamie Teale, will be performing a play called the Accordian Shop by Cush Jumbo. It is a new short play from a new playwright, based on the London Riots, and looks at how hype is created through the use of mobile phones.
A director from the National Theatre will be visiting to watch the students perform on the 3 March and the final performance is on Thursday 12th March in G9 at 7:30pm.
We are asking for a £2 donation from those wanting to come which can be paid on the night. This will contribute towards the cost of getting to the West Yorkshire Playhouse in April when the group will perform there! (Date TBC)< Back to all news stories
