Year 8 Malham Trip 2019
On Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th June, 220 Year 8 students visited the Yorkshire Dales National Park for a walk round Malham.
Students took in spectacular sights including Malham Cove, the limestone pavement, Gordale Scar, and Janet’s Foss waterfall. The 4.5 mile walk, including the 412 steps up to the top of Malham Cove made this a true challenge for some but a really positive experience none the less. Despite some tired legs and hard work, everyone was rewarded with impressive and spectacular views across the Yorkshire Dales.
As ever, the students were an absolute credit to Bingley Grammar School. Thank you to our Geography department who organised the trip and to the staff who accompanied the groups and took part in the walk< Back to all news stories
