Year 11 Celebration

On Thursday 15th July it was the turn of our Year 11s to return to school for their celebration event.

Mr Brown reports,
It was brilliant to see so many Year 11s coming to celebrate the end of the year with us. The playing field looked so vibrant with all of the students, their picnic blankets, and the ice cream van. Students were able to collect their leavers hoodies and yearbooks as well as saying thanks to their staff. Music was provided by the IT support staff and also by a knockout set from the staff band. Mr Brown and Mr Bridge presented a range of awards based on achievement, attendance and resilience to name a few. Year 11 have truly been a real pleasure to work with this year, they have shown themselves in such a positive light throughout the year. Such a sunny Thursday picnic afternoon was a great way to end the year, best wishes to all of our year 11, have a brilliant summer break.

Thank you to all our Year 11s for being so resilient and positive throughout your GCSE experience - we hope you enjoyed the celebration event as much as we did and gain the results you deserve!
