Vote for Poppy on CBBC’s ‘Got What It Takes’!

Since the end of September many of us have been tuning into the CBBC show ‘Got What It Takes?’ to watch our very talented Year 8 student Poppy (and her mum!) take part.

Poppy spent the summer in the ‘Music Mansion’ with 7 other talented young singers, taking part in industry challenges, and meeting experts and stars from the music world. She has been the youngest contestant this year. The series follows the eight talented hopefuls – and their mums – as they undertake challenges against one another in a music industry boot-camp, each one hoping to be crowned the star of the show and make it through to the finals.

Poppy was selected from hundreds of young singers to be one of the final eight, and has been mentored by Olly Murs and John Newman whilst on the TV talent show.

On the 19th November in episode 9 we will see one of the participants going straight through to the final having won the most sing offs, whilst the other 7 get an opportunity to sing a cover song in a very well-known London Studio! This will be put out to a free online 24-hour public vote to determine the other 3 finalists.

**It is free to vote and information will be broadcast during the episodes**

The winner of the final will be chosen by an industry panel and will then sing at next year’s Radio1 Big Weekend on the main stage in front of a 20,000 strong audience.

We would love to see Poppy on that stage so please remember to vote to keep her in the competition!

‘Got What It Takes?’ continues on Mondays at 5.25pm on CBBC >>
