Setting off on the DofE Training Expedition
Our Year 9 and 10 DofE students are now all well on their way navigating themselves to Addingham where they will camp overnight.
A member of staff will be walking with each group for the majority of today to help with route finding and teaching map skills.
When they arrive, the groups will be setting up camp, preparing their own meals and spending the night at Ghyll House campsite, near Addingham. The groups will be heading back unsupervised (but remotely supervised at checkpoints) tomorrow.
The weather looks fantastic this morning and we are sure they will all have an expedition to remember!
