Bingley Grammar School

Remembrance Day Parade

On Sunday 10th November the Bingley Community gathered to mark Remembrance Sunday.

Remembrance Sunday

Year 9 student Jonathan volunteered to represent Bingley Grammar School at the service and laid a wreath on behalf of our school. The service was organised by the Bingley Remembrance group who did an amazing job in bringing the whole thing together.

We observed a 2 minute silence in school yesterday and all our students will be learning about the importance of Remembrance Day in their form groups this week. Also to mark Remembrance Day Miss Shah's Archbishop of York Young Leaders group visited Thompson Court in Crossflatts to spend time chatting to the residents and listen to their stories about their childhoods and post-war Britain.

Lest We Forget.
