National Computer Hub School Status

I am excited to tell you all that we have been selected by the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) as one of only 23 schools nationally to become a leading computing hub school. We are thrilled to take part in such a prestigious national project that shows the government’s commitment to closing the skills gap for students across the country.

Our Computing team went through a rigorous selection process demonstrating their expertise, enthusiasm and commitment to computing education becoming the only lead hub school in West Yorkshire!

As an NCCE Computing Hub, we are very much looking forward to supporting schools and colleges within the region to ensure that all young learners (including our own at Bingley Grammar!) have access to excellent Computer Science provision, to improve their future prospects.
