Gastronauts Take On Chips!
Last week our Yr 7 and 8 Gastronauts lunchtime club met again to find a healthier alternative to chips whilst learning about winter seasonal vegetables.
Students made butternut squash humous with sweet potato wedges and devoured the lot!
The group discussed seasonal vegetables, nutrition, foods from other cultures and how Harissa and Tahini paste are made.
Mrs Wilkinson is so proud of all students attending during their lunch time - they are certainly belonging, growing and succeeding at school life!< Back to all news stories
