Santa Fun Run for Yr 7 Emily

On Saturday Yr 7 student Emily took part in the Great Skipton Santa Fun Run. The run is a charitable event organised by The Rotary Club of Skipton and Craven where every runner dresses up as Santa.

Emily had a great time running with her mother and completed the 5k course in 30 mins, 38 seconds which was a massive 8 minutes faster than her personal best!

The annual event is open to all to enter and raises money for charities such as Sue Ryder's Manorlands, the Children’s Heart Unit at LGI, Yorkshire Cancer Research as well as the Rotary’s own charities.

Well done Emily - we love hearing about our students taking part in community and sporting events like this. Thank you for bringing in your medal to show us!
