DofE Bronze Award Qualifying Expedition 2018
On July 5th and 6th, 44 Year 9 and 10 students departed from school to complete their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh qualifying expedition.
They travelled through the St.Ives estate before returning to Bingley, followed the river towards Saltaire and onward to Sconce scout campsite in Baildon.
Day two involved some tricky navigation to Menston before looping back through Burley Woodhead to finish at the Cow and Calf rocks in Ilkley.
Despite very warm temperatures on both days all our student groups safely negotiated the route which included tricky navigation at several points. Well done to all participants!
To complete their Award each student must now ensure they have uploaded assessor reports for any remaining sections. If anyone is struggling with the assessor reports they should see Mr Morse as soon as possible for assistance.
