BGS CheerleadersCheerleading Success

Last Thursday our Cheerleading team competed at the School's Cheerleading competition at Tong High School.

Miss Iles took a fantastic team of girls who have been practising and working really hard for this competition.

There were three other teams in our category - Hanson, Thornton A and Thornton B. All the teams performed amazingly and our team were last up. The girls put their all into their performanace and actually came first winning their category!

Miss Iles was so proud of their attitude, their determination and of course, the result. They were an absolute credit to the school and have improved so much since they started practising. A perfect example of our Ethos - belong, grow, succeed.

The team is made up of students from Yr 7 - Yr 9:

Freya Thomason, Charlotte Aitchiason, Jodie Hanley, Mollie Shackleton, Yasmin Lynn, Emily Hiley, Natalia Basaraba, Morgan Robinson, Millie Pamment, Kelise Burridge, Robyn Kane and Olivia Tetley.

Well done and good luck to the team who are now through to the West Yorkshire Youth Games in July!
