Bingley's Got Talent 2015

Bingley's Got Talent this year was yet again a fantastic event.

Bingley's Got Talent went ahead despite the snow and was a great success. The evening was organised and run by our Yr 12 Performing Arts students who all had a role to play. All money raised from the event has been split between the four house charities: Make a Wish, Teenage Cancer Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie Cancer Care. To boost the money raised on the night the team sold refreshments, programs and also ran a sucessful raffle with prizes donated from local businesses.

After the gruelling auditions process at the beginning of the month, 9 acts were chosen to perform to the audience and we were not disappointed!

All the final acts performed incredibly well and it was a really tough decision for the judges. Oscar Harrison from Year 8 won the title with an amazing drum performance and the runners up were Katy Smith for her street dancing and Olivia Tetley and Bea Noutch who sang and played the keyboard.

Well done to all our brave performers and the Yr 12 Performing Arts students who organised the whole event so well. We also had a fantastic group of helpers from Sixth Form and Yr 7 who helped to make the evening run smoothly.
