Knowledge Learned & Skills Developed:
Students gain a broad understanding of Health and Social Care, developing skills, knowledge and understanding in order to work in the Health and Social Care sector. A Cambridge National Certificate can lead to a junior level position in a wide variety of career areas, including nursing, care homes, counselling, classroom/nursery assistant, social work and other health related employment.
The department offers after school support for all Health and Social Care students years 9 -13 by arrangement with individual teachers. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
