Bingley Grammar School

Fatimah talks at ITT Conference

Earlier this month, Year 13 student Fatimah, attended an ITT (Initial Teacher Training) conference at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Fatimah delivered a talk about her learning experiences at Bingley Grammar and in particular, the way she is stretched and challenged at school. She was accompanied by Miss Jackson, one of the school's current ITT trainees who supported her throughout the day.

The hour long presentation, which was presented to 40 ITT trainees, also saw Fatimah talk about how she engages with meaningful revision techniques, the types of teaching styles she prefers and her journey through her EPQ (Extended Project Qualification).

Miss Jackson reported that the ITTs were blown away by her confidence, professionalism and drive.

We would like to congratulate Fatimah for taking up this opportunity and wish her all the very best in her upcoming exams.
