Our Sixth Form offers students the chance to become involved in student Leadership by becoming a Prefect.
Our Prefects work with the Head Girl and Head Boy, and the Sixth Form team, to make decisions on the running of the Sixth Form and help with events and charitable fundraising throughout the year.
We have a large team of around 30 Prefects in Year 13, including the Head Girl and Boy, who set the standard for conduct in the Sixth Form. The prefects are split into three teams; Teaching & Learning, Enrichment and Charity - their duties include:
- The Samaritans’ Purse Shoebox Appeal
- Other charity events (e.g. bake sales)
- Leavers’ hoodies
- Leavers’ yearbook
- Head Boy and Head Girl speech at the annual Awards Evening
- Open Days (tour guides and subject stands)
- Induction days/launch evenings for new Year 12s and external students
- Presenting to lower school in assemblies
- Pupil Premium Mentoring
- And many more!
